In his secondary school years, he was one of the best basket maker in our village. He went to school very early and after school, he spent a part of his evening at the workshop-like basket making spot. With one of his best friends, they made baskets in chains. Starting dozens at ago and weaving them to completion before starting the finishing touches.
On two weeks basis, they loaded a car with their baskets and to the market they went. And their baskets were always admired since they were not just elegant but very strong and practical. They made sure that their products were unique among the many that flooded the market: Very accommodating, comfortable, strong and practical.
The market being competitive, they made sure their best baskets stand out. Amidst all that, he continued to thrive in the school. And as a science student, he continued looking forward to becoming an engineer. And even on his baskets, one could easily see that one needs to be an engineer to put such meticulous effort in making baskets.
On finishing his Senior Certificate Examination, he was happy to hear about The Institute of Industrial Technology who has a record in training brilliant young boys for a better society. He applied and was accepted under merit to undergo their rigorous training.
And as their program is, he was opportune to do his industrial immersion with Krones LCS, West Africa.
Now, with Covid19 situation, he has been struggling to put his talents into the service of our society. So, very few industries are ready to invest on young guys independent of their talents and dedication. This is why this young boy, who always dreamed to realize great things is out there looking for any person or company ready to give him an opportunity to prove his worth.
One thing is certain, he has the technical know-how, he is honest, industrious and with great untapped potentials.
