The Mother Earth cried
As our lil sis Uwa dried
Groaning in her own blood
Submerging the cross as flood
In her quest to change the story
That put her in a given category
She trusted science and faith
Reading and praying to beat her fate
In the morning she went to school
And then to the church as it’s cool
In quest to better her fatherland
But they all turned to be a fairyland
As monsters went to hunt her down
Pitilessly, they crawled into her gown
Soiling the house where we seek God
Then evaporated just like a death squad
And came the vultures to eat her up
The police in their method of cover-up
Started asking their useless questions
Leaving us with hopeless suggestions
The masses then taunted her memory
Painting the rapists in beautiful emery
And the victim they mocked and judged
As if the rapist she actually nudged
